UTILITY TRAILER KIT REGISTRATION INFORMATION

When you get your trailer in the carton that contains the tongue of the trailer you will find the
Manufacturer's Certificate of Origin or MCO sometimes referred to as MSO (Manufacturer's Statement of Origin).

This is basically your "Pink Slip" or title to the trailer.
If you are going to register the trailer for use on the road or highway you will need to present this certificate along with proof of purchase cost which would be our invoice.

Unless your local motor vehicle department requires a notarized signature from us you can fill in the necessary information on the certificate without having to mail it to us.

On the front of the certificate in about the middle of the page you need to write or type in Iowa Boys as the dealer.
On the back in the assignment 1 section you can fill in your information as the purchaser and
enter Iowa Boys and 8189254602 for the dealer and number.

In the dealer signature section any name will do. This is not something that is checked usually and if not a notarized signature any name can be used.
Because it costs us to get something notarized, there is a charge of $10.00 for a notarized signature if you need to mail the MCO to us.

Be sure to look for the certificate as soon as you open your boxes.
Even if you do not plan to use the trailer on the road and do not need to register it, if you ever sell it the certificate may be needed for the next own
er.
